Today we ate like Queens. Thank you for the kids eat free so splurging on a whole fried red snapper felt like a must do. It was so good I shamelessly ate the whole thing! my side was the fresh made cole slaw that was not over dressed. Gave the right acidity to my fried fish.
We got our cake to go because how can you leave without the Coconut Cake.
Thanks to our server - bartender Allie we will be regulars to check out more awesome mocktails also!

Two Yelp stars means: Meh. I've experienced better and folks, that's a true statement!
Maybe Sunday evening isn't the time to go, maybe the cook staff was having an "off" night, I don't know but our first visit here was not "all that".

Nine people in our group should not have been an issue considering we had a reservation so they knew we were coming and there was maybe only nine other people in the entire place when we showed up.

The first thing that got me was.... I can't think of any seafood place where hushpuppies are not standard. Here they are considered as a side dish. Thankfully two folks at our table ordered them. There were  five on each plate, pretty decent size, but so over cooked they were as hard as golf balls.

Fish(Mahi)-n-chips for me, fried shrimp for the Mrs.
The shrimp were small, cold and very tough.
My fish was just ok. The batter coating didn't stick and was pretty oily.

The service was pretty decent and we were checked on pretty regularly.

I can't say that we'll go out of our way to return when we have much better places closer to home.

5 stars- the seafood Cobb salad is perfection. Such a nice meal that's on the healthier side but still filling, tasty, and totally satisfying. The shrimp is seasoned really well, and the coconut lime dressing was so yummy.

1 Star- I love coconut cake, it tends to be airy, light, fluffy, and not too sweet. This cake was exactly the opposite- it was dense and intensely sweet, I couldn't handle more than a couple bites. This was actually the worst coconut cake I've ever had, I'm sorry to report. I really didn't like this.

Despite the bad dessert experience, I'll definitely be back!! The special looked really good, coconut jalapeño crusted salmon...

Had a $15 coupon valued at $30 for Two Dudes Seafood so my friend & I had dinner on a Wednesday evening.  Just missed Happy Hour ending at 6:30 - not a problem.  We each had beer that paired well with seafood.  Orange Blossom Pilsner & Swamp Head Bignose.  I ordered the Baja Taco with Blackened Grouper.  I requested my fish be blackened in very little olive oil. They can also prepare it with no oil, just ask.  My friend had the Mayport Shrimp with two sides.  I tasted the shrimp & it was so crispy, nicely flavored & fresh.  The Wasabi coleslaw had a nice kick with pieces of mango.  The drinks and the sides we picked complimented our meal very well.
Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable & attentive.  We were the only party at the time, aside from a guy at the bar.  So I'm not sure how it is if they're busy.  I don't understand why the place was empty.  There is nothing better than fresh seafood & Two Dudes delivered.  I'll be back for dinner.   Happy Hour menu looked good too.

We've eaten here a few times and each time has been a pleasant experience.  The seafood is incredibly fresh as they receive it in daily and it's never frozen.

I really liked the atmosphere - a bit industrial and modern. Clean and simple lines with plenty of seating for both large groups at tables or booths for smaller parties.

We've sat both in the main part of the restaurant and at the bar and had great service every time.  The servers and bar tenders are well trained and are able to answer questions and give great recommendations.  The server brings the "fresh catch" board to the table to show the options for their daily seafood. And the food can be prepared to your liking, i.e. blackened, broiled, fried.  All the sauces and dressings are made in house and you can tell a difference!

Save room for the dessert. They have some of the best desserts in town!
